THANK YOU to everyone who submitted an audition. Although auditions for the 2024–2025 season are now CLOSED, auditions can still be submitted and will be reviewed on a rolling basis for substitute positions. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Instructions:​

1. Auditions consist of three parts: 1) scales 2) technical excerpt and 3) lyrical excerpt. Click individual instrument links below for specific audition packet and excerpts.

2. Please audio record yourself playing each part. Recordings do not have to be one continuous take. They can be multiple tracks. MP3 files are preferred.

3. Email the completed audition packet and audio track(s) to statelineorchestra@gmail.com by Wednesday, July 31.

Additional Information:

• These are placement auditions. Current musicians who submit recordings will have a spot in the orchestra. 

• However, current musicians who do not submit a recording risk losing their seat.

• If you are a new musician, please make sure to fill out the "Background information/playing history" portion on page 1 of the audition packet.
